Introduction

The purpose of the Walkfar Coonhunter’s Club is to promote the coondog to a place of excellence in the coondog world; to promote good sportsmanship in the field of competitive hunting, bench shows, and field trials; to conserve the resource so that we and future generations may enjoy the sport of coon hunting. The Walkfar Coonhunter’s Club shall exist forever unless dissolved by the membership.

The Walkfar Coonhunter’s Club was formed in 1991 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) under the guidance and leadership of the Chairman at that time the late Charles C Messer. This organization is set up and runs it’s meetings under Roberts Rule of Order while applying democratic principals. From time to time we have benefits for someone in need in the community and help with other hunting clubs that sponsor national known benefits. We have Tax Deductible Forms, any one wishing to make a donation can do so by making a check payable to the Walkfar Coonhunter’s Club Inc, PO Box 335, Clyde NC 28721.
